We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Solutions Architect to join a dynamic Core Services Team. In this role, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available systems to support internal infrastructure and platform needs. Our client develops and deploys systematic financial strategies across a broad range of asset classes and global markets.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale systems in production environments

  • Strong Python development skills and experience with production-level libraries

  • Deep understanding of Linux systems and internals

  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Packer

  • Experience with AWS and/or GCP in production environments

  • Strong knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Podman, LXC)

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab, GitHub)

  • Familiarity with open-source technologies such as NGINX, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Sentry

  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of scalable "as-a-Service" offerings for internal infrastructure

  • Collaborate with engineering and implementation teams to ensure smooth service integration and operational handover

  • Deliver robust, secure, and future-proof solutions across cloud-native, Kubernetes, bare-metal, and hybrid infrastructures

  • Provide technical leadership and documentation, driving architectural best practices

  • Champion problem-solving approaches, promoting engineering excellence and code reusability
