We are looking for a Security Encryption HSM Specialist to secure financial transactions and sensitive data for a major U.S. bank. This role focuses on HSM administration, key management, cryptographic security, and compliance enforcement in a banking environment.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain HSM devices while managing the key lifecycle (generation, rotation, destruction).
- Implement secure key management policies and integrate encryption best practices.
- Use HSMs for encryption, decryption, and digital signatures in financial transactions.
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, HIPAA, GDPR, and other security regulations.
- Conduct security audits, monitoring, and vulnerability assessments.
- Automate and integrate HSMs with banking applications using scripting languages.
- Investigate and resolve security incidents related to HSM operations.
Requirements
- Expertise in cryptography (symmetric & asymmetric encryption).
- Hands-on experience with HSM technologies (Thales, Utimaco, Entrust).
- Strong knowledge of key lifecycle management and financial security regulations.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) for automation and integration.
- Experience with security incident response and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
